At first, I was skeptical because of how small the pad was packed and it doesn't have an automatic inflate mechanism. But, I was quickly impressed when I started to inflate it. With a few big breaths it was fully inflated! Next, was to try it out. Overall, it definitely is a portable and convienient cushioning solution on an somewhat even surface so perfect for easy car camping sites. The fabric does have some crinkle sounds when you move. I keep this in my car as a handy sleeping pad for the naps at the park and also to use for short camping trips. I would recommend this for someone who wants a simple, affordable sleeping pad.
