Hard brush, but flammable!
I bought the natural Palmyra bristle and it looks very solid. However, the metal support to which the bristles are attached contacts the grill to an equal or greater extent than the bristles during cleaning, interfering with cleaning. You need a lot of bristles. Also, mine is on fire! I fired up our grill after making burgers and my flames lit up while I was cleaning the grill and the brush caught on fire! So I would not buy the natural version again!
