Mine died today after two years and was only charged occasionally. It may have died when my wife put her MURS radio in to "CHECK" if it was correct. However, he should not have died even if the radio had reversed polarity. We are talking about 10 volts and 0.5 amps or 5 watts. Security systems must be in place. I'll try someone else and hope it's a little more durable.
