Review on Cratejoy by Ibrahim Iskandar

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fee structure is deceptive, and there is no transparency.

Cratejoy's technique is quite effective. Subscriptions were processed on a regular basis and were rather easy to manage. The bad side of Cratejoy is you are not given a clear explanation of the fees you must pay. Because we signed up for a Cratejoy membership that was marketed as lowering the fee per transaction, I ended myself missing out on $2000 in revenue. When I first signed up in 2019, it wasn't made clear that we'd have to pay an outrageous 11% fee for sales on the marketplace. Instead, I was led to assume that because of the lower rate, we would pay it. Instead, I was made to assume that because we had the subscription, we would pay the cheaper amount. This turned out to be incorrect, and it took me a long time to figure it out because the genuine fees are nowhere to be seen on Cratejoy's website. Instead, I had to get into my Stripe account and go into one of my Cratejoy transactions to see how much they charged. Without jeopardizing subscriber connections, I intend to cut ties with them as soon as possible. This serves as a warning to anyone considering using Cratejoy: there is a better way to do business. Don't waste your time with them or their shady tactics. Invest in yourself to avoid paying for their services
Advice for those considering the product:
Consider what you're attempting to achieve. Can you afford to hand up cash for every transaction? Could you spare a little more time and effort to create your own website that does precisely what Cratejoy does, cutting out the middleman? Remember, Cratejoy is a business, and they don't give a damn about you. They solely exist to earn MONEY in any legal way they can, even if it means harming you.
What problems do you solve with the product? What benefits did you notice? :
They don't do anything I don't already do on my main website. We've earned about 10% of our subscribers through Cratejoy.
