Packing sausages in ziplock bags always hurts, hands get dirty, pumping all the air out of the bag hurts. etc. We decided to try these bags this year to bypass that process. It was clean, there was virtually no air in any of the bags and the process was quicker than hand packing the bags afterwards. I would suggest buying 2lb packs instead of 1lb packs. They're both the same diameter, but the 2-pound bags are longer. So you have more options to work.
