The only bags we use

We have been using Lem bags for a number of years now. They are durable. Put markers on the side so you can easily see how much weight is in the bag so you don't have to guess. And I also like that you can mark which game is inside.

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Great product, don't forget the ties!

Sturdy, even holds 2 pounds of ground venison. I want this product to come to tie bags. That was my complete mistake. Luckily we had some zip ties with us. We also tried boar ties but I find the plastic too flimsy. We had no problems, we almost switched to small ties.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • looks

Great if you have the right tools

got this for storing minced meat, whether game or bulk purchases in the store. The pouches look nice and strong, but you basically need a sausage attachment to get the meat into the pouches. I thought I could put something in each hand, but it's a pain. Nothing against bags just didn't work out as planned.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Something different

The best way to make reindeer burgers

This is the easiest way to make reindeer burgers. Remember you'll still need a way (chopper or filler) to get the stuffing into the bag and a tape dispenser to seal the end. But having tried most of the methods over the years, this one has proven to be the best for me. These bags, I use 1 pound bags, also help with recipes or just making burgers because you know you have about a pound in each.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Many products

Ideal for camping and hiking

Packing sausages in zip bags is always awkward, hands get dirty, difficult to let all the air out of the bag. etc. We decided to try these bags this year to bypass that process. It was clean, there was virtually no air in any of the bags and the process was quicker than hand packing the bags afterwards. I would suggest buying 2lb packs instead of 1lb packs. They're both the same diameter, but the 2-pound bags are longer. So you have more options to work.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not all fit

Great bags for storing processed ground beef.

I love these bags and have used them over and over again. Here are some notes on my experience: Pros: - They are very economical. 100 bags at $10 each. I don't think it can be defeated. They do an excellent job of preventing food from burning in the freezer. They are very easy to use. Mince the meat then place the stuffing tube in the meat grinder, put the bag over the stuffing tube, run the meat through the meat grinder and it "stuffs" right into the bag until you think it's the one you wantโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Expensive

Great for quick and easy use

These bags have been a lifesaver this past hunting season! My father-in-law recommended these for use with the LEM grinder he gave us to process our moose. The meat is shredded and goes straight into the bag so you don't have to touch it. They are very durable and I love how you can just write the date and tick the box so you know what's inside. Once frozen there was no problem and the Prime price was much cheaper compared to ordering direct from LEM. Will definitely buy again!

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Helps me cook sausage in a pan

>. I use them for leftover sausages that I don't want to stuff into smaller casings. I usually fill a bag or two, tie them tight, tie strings around my neck, and toss them in the freezer. After a few hours, I take them out partially frozen and cut them into finger-sized slices. These slices are then allowed to fully freeze to make pan-fried sausages. The TRICK is to prevent the meat from completely freezing before slicing; Otherwise the knives can become blunt and make this very difficultโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

My Go To Burger Bag

I have been playing my own game including making my own burger for several years. I've used a variety of packaging methods to store my hamburger and have found using LEM venison bags to be the easiest way to freeze meat. I can stuff them right out of the meat grinder. The bags are a good size and stack well in my freezer. I haven't had any problems with the freezer either. The quality of the bag is very good, easy to fill and protects my burger in the freezer. In fact, I have several LEMโ€ฆ
