I bought a total of 4 HyperX headsets for my sons because of the low price and availability. However, all 4 headsets had some issues. The first two had audio issues and stopped working (couldn't hear or use the mic) within a few weeks of purchase. Luckily I bought GameStop's protection plan and they replaced the items. The next two were purchased through Revain and in addition to audio issues, the 3.5mm jack on both headsets broke. When I contacted the manufacturer (still under warranty), Kingston Technology, I initially received misinformation and received no response as I was told. On my second contact with the company, I dealt with an extremely smug and arrogant rep who basically advised them to test their products so they would know that these types of issues shouldn't arise unless they were the fault of the customer. They also claimed that they did not have the original information I provided nor my purchase confirmation that I submitted to the company two days earlier. I was told that the application would be considered, but I got the impression that it would most likely be rejected. I gave this product 4 chances before writing a review but after so many issues and very poor treatment from the manufacturer I thought it would be wise to let others know that HyperX headsets seem to be prone to various issues and that it is very likely that you will face one problem or another when you buy it. I strongly advise NOT to buy this product!
