I can't believe how sharp this lens is for the money. I was in dire need of a telephoto lens delivered quickly and decided to give it a try as I got along well with the Meike cine lenses. With a Canon EF 85mm 1.8 I can say it's a lighter and sharper lens with decent blur/bokeh. My only small issue is that the focus is louder than Canon's. But if you're just taking photos, this is a great alternative to the Canon version for a lot less money. The main body structure is lightweight aluminum (I think), making it lighter than Canon. This lens even comes with a lens hood, which Canon doesn't have. I've used it a few times on architectural shots to capture detail and close-ups and haven't been disappointed.
