Review on Lenovo 31.5-Inch DisplayPort Mountable Monitor 65F8GCC1US - 2560X1440P, 75Hz, Flicker-Free, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, Anti-Glare Coating, IPS, C32Q-20 by John Ferguson

Dark spot under the screen

Great monitor. Without the stain it would have been five stars. I like the size and form factor. I actually "roll back" from a 43-inch 4K screen. I liked it because the pixel density was pretty close to what I used before. I like to turn display scaling off (e.g. 100%), so having a large, high-resolution screen is important to me. The pixel density is actually lower than what I've used before, but I actually like it more. Higher refresh rate (Going from 30 to 75 makes a difference.) I wish there were more than two inputs. I love having multiple HDMI inputs and splitting them between HDMI and DisplayPort made me change the configuration a bit. Luckily I've upgraded to HDMI KVM so an HDMI connection isn't such a big deal. Problem as it used to be, also I have a DisplayPort for my old laptop dock. Another thing I miss is the built in speakers but with the extra desk space I can use the right set which sounds better anyway although it's a different one Thankfully the monitor has a headphone output so I only have HDMI /DisplayPort can use as audio output. I don't know if it's manufacturing related or something else, but I don't seem to have had any luck with large screens with smudges between layers. It's not a broken pixel, it's a piece of something. My last screen had that too. I haven't noticed it for weeks but knowing it's there worries me! In any case, I recommend. The ratio of pixel density and size is almost perfect.
