I just got a pump and tried it on some gas cans in the garage to pump gas to a snow blower. Worked great! I'm going to use it to dump a snow blower and pump gas into a generator and two lawn mowers in the spring. Now I won't be using it that much anymore. There isn't much snow. But I mow a lot in the summer so I can see usage every 4 or 5 days. Since I'm alert to bad reviews and the instructions say not to leave it in the gas can if it's not going to be used for a while, I take it out of the can if it's not going to be used. He will stay in the summer. I also recommend using AA lithium batteries. They last much longer in extreme temperatures (-40 to 140 F). In the winter we drop to 0 or less and the regular AAs couldn't keep up with the outside clocks and temperature sensors. Leave lithium. Updated 03/25/16. Periodic problems started after 3 uses within a month. Due to the lack of customer service for the product in question, I will see if I can fix the problem myself.
