One of the 4 egg rings arrived with a damaged surface. Bits of coating stuck out of the inner fairing, sharp enough to cut your fingers. I considered sending them back but not worth the hassle. I would look for another brand as where they were made definitely lacks quality control. As you can see in the attached picture this is easy to tell by visual inspection and whoever put them in plastic bags should have found sharp bits of coating and damage inside the ring. The second ring had a scratch on the coating on the outside of the ring, but since it's not on the hob I was willing to overlook it. and with good rings. Cook the rings as directed if you have a shallow pan. Regarding the damaged ring, they contacted me quickly and sent me 2 new replacement rings without any problems. Unfortunately 1 of the 2 replacement rings also had a damaged coating on the inside of the ring so I can't give them 5 stars. You have a quality control in the manufacturing process that needs to be corrected.
