Intermittent Solenoid Valve

The first item on the installation sheet is "OVERHEATING. These valves are not designed to operate continuously for more than 8 hours”. It would be appropriate to have this warning in the description. In my case the on-time is less than 8 hours, but I have concerns that the thermal time constant relative to the coil temperature is probably much less than 8 hours. If it's on for more than 8 hours, the guide recommends using a computer fan to cool the coil.

Pros

As with all US SOLID products, this valve carries a ONE-YEAR WARRANTY. Should a valve fail within the first year of purchase, US SOLID will be happy to replace it.
