I bought these to track temperature and humidity differences in our home as whoever designed them was probably hallucinating at the time. I needed something cheap, accurate enough and fitting. It was a good price for four of them, so I wasn't particularly disappointed when one of them arrived with a dead battery. I just opened the case and the batteries were replaced and it lasted a little longer. However, he died after three weeks. It would be really nice if they were sold either with separate batteries or with a retractable tab so the batteries don't run out. They stand on their own, which is very useful. I had to put a few in the fridge because the thermistor had failed and I needed to monitor the temp until it was fixed. They are nice and small and can be placed anywhere without getting in the way. It's also nice that you don't need a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment. It just opens. A few weeks after receiving one of the thermometers started reading 79F and 63% humidity no matter where it was, but removing and reinstalling the batteries seemed to fix that. I can't comment. Accuracy, because as I said, our house is a bit eccentric, so the temperature will change a few degrees depending on which side of the room we are on, the outside temperature, the position of the sun, and whether we called the right one from other worlds until Thursdays. This is despite the fact that the central AC system is operating normally. As far as I know, they're completely disabled, but their readings seem to match the actual temperature and humidity inside, to within a few degrees and percentages, so that's enough.
