Humidity inconsistent. They were in the garage for over 24 hours. You can see that all the temperatures are the same but the humidity is in the 11% range. They are not reliable for moisture.

I bought this little kit to check the temperature and humidity in my home to make sure my houseplants are at their healthiest. Three months later, not only are all four still working, they are still as accurate as the day I got them and that goes for BOTH humidity and temperature. Very happy with it! I thought about buying more, they are so good.

I had all 4 in the same room, on the same level, 2 feet apart. I checked her several times a day for a week. The humidity was GONE. They range from 40% to 99% humidity at the same time. How can one read 40% and the other 3 in the same room read 60, 70 and 90%? The temperatures only differed by 1-3% degrees, but again, why? Why can't they have the same temperature and humidity? Then I forgot them and missed my return window by 3 days. Aggravating.

Of the 4 bags, all temperatures were exactly the same but the hygrometer readings were off by 3%. While not bad, I was expecting something more consistent. What surprised me was that batteries were installed and working on all 4 sensors. How long are the batteries in? This makes the batteries run a little less than if I had it enabled. What I was expecting was a retractable pull tab that would allow the batteries to power the device as needed since I don't need all 4 at once.

UPDATE: Of course, as the temperature rises above 74°F, the accuracy of the humidity sensor will start to decrease. I have two other humidity sensors and they have always been accurate. Every 4 at 78+ or higher the moisture readings will vary more and more, up to 10%. This is 100% unacceptable and renders these sensors useless.
