Review on Shimano Ultegra 6800 Road Brake by Sean Powers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

HUGE upgrade over the stock nameless pads

When my entry level road bike ran out of pads I thought about upgrading the whole set of brakes but decided to try them first and I'm very happy that I did that. I didn't think using solid pads could make such a difference, but they are already light years better than the stock no-name pads that came with the bike. In addition, the Ultegra kit allows you to change the last yourself instead of replacing the entire shoe, saving you money later. All in all a great upgrade for those with unnamed brakes/pads and a great set of pads/pads in general.
