Good stoppers for cycling

I bought a brand new Trek Domane and the stock brakes were terrible. It seemed that it was not necessary to dwell on this matter. Put them on the bike and now my brakes are fine. A good investment, both for performance and security.

Pros
  • Bicycle brakes and parts
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Big improvement over Tiagra pads

Ordered these for my wife's bike and was very happy with them. Noticeable improvement in braking performance and I like that next time only the rubber insert needs to be replaced. I can't say anything about durability yet, but I'm happy with it so far.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • Out of fashion

HUGE upgrade over the stock nameless pads

When my entry level road bike ran out of pads I thought about upgrading the whole set of brakes but decided to try them first and I'm very happy that I did that. I didn't think using solid pads could make such a difference, but they are already light years better than the stock no-name pads that came with the bike. In addition, the Ultegra kit allows you to change the last yourself instead of replacing the entire shoe, saving you money later. All in all a great upgrade for those with unnamed…
