It regulates air but.
The regulator works fine. But the "automatic" water drain will not stay closed when running. I suppose it should shut under pressure but the spring is too stiff. I can figure out if water accumulates and open a valve myself. So I wrapped wire of the right diameter around the outer valve stem to keep it shut. This is very annoying. But of course I couldn't learn this until it was installed. Oh: Order Teflon tape if you don't have any. Throw the junk provided in the trash.
- Swapped out an old one with this. After 2 months, so far so good. I only run at 90psi.
- The filter element is difficult to replace, requiring special tools and expertise
