Review on 🚲 Allen Sports 2-Bike Hitch Racks: Versatile Solution for 1 1/4 in. and 2 in. Hitch by Ryan Person

I decided to wait a bit before posting my review of this bike hitch so I could try it. I've taken two of our bikes to multiple locations over the past few weeks. The bike rack worked great! Currently. I will add it. I would NOT rely on the straps that come with the toe. When I bought this bike rack I also bought a set of 6 quick release straps. When the straps arrived I cut each one to about 1ft (2ft) long and used 3 straps on each bike along with the straps that come with the hitch. The bikes don't wobble and it seems like I hardly move while riding. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing this rack if, AND ONLY IF, you are purchasing a set of straps in addition to the factory fitted straps. The clutch itself is strong and seems to last a very long time to me. OH. a negative. The screw tabs that allow them to be placed at various points on the vertical bar don't screw very tight. Another reason you need to buy a set of 6 tie down straps is to use with the manufacturer's straps. Update after Florida trip: We drove 2,000 miles (round trip) to Ft. Myers Beach took 2 bikes last month. This Easy Load Deluxe hitch worked flawlessly. I've never worried about the bikes falling off. Of course, if you read my review above, you know that I used 6 extra straps. three extra straps per bike to keep bikes in place. I would not recommend using the straps that come with this clutch alone. I don't think they will hold the bike in place. But with the extra straps, this clutch worked like a CHAMPION!
