Just fine - better to have than a 3/4 function universal remote.
The back/battery cover is thin and doesn't like it. Those modern snap-on lids suck - they don't hold up well after a while. I wish they would go back to lids that had a push button or a push tab to open the lid. However, if your alternative is a universal remote that always requires you to set how many things work, then this will do.
