I've used this several times to stick SS mother certificates in thin aluminum and steel. I can't believe I didn't have any of these before. A really strong Threaded Insert is much better than trying to thread thin steel or flimsy aluminum. It takes a bit of work to set this up for different sizes, but no more than any tool of this type. I'm very happy with the value for money of this tool. Update: I recently used this tool with a 10-24 mandrel. I tried too hard and the thorn broke. I wasn't quite sure how to get a new frame so I contacted the company through Revain. I was amazed that they answered me the same day, on a day off. I was also impressed that they not only gave me the information I needed to get a new arbor but also offered to pay for it under warranty. I wasn't really expecting warranty coverage but I'm very impressed that they stood up for their product.
