It works if you spend more money

What the product description doesn't say is that you need to buy a 12 volt power adapter if you want to use it. It just closes the switch. The SSR version provides power, but only 7.5 volts, NOT 12 volts. The original SSR I bought with Inkbird's first PID controller completely burned down.
