And crystal clear! This is the finishing touch on my 125 gallon. I use this polishing pad on an AquaClear 70 head with a filter head. At 100 microns thick, it's dense and needs replacing more often than a standard floss pad, so it's more handy to have on the nozzle than one of my canister filters (2 Cascade 1500). I'm only on my second week of use. I'm using it so I'm still working on the timing but I changed the first one after 7 days. This time I can wait 10 days just to see how it compares. Anyway, my aquarium looks fantastic. Everyone is shocked when they see it. Update: 7.26.18 - I didn't make it to 10 days between changes, 9 days seems too long. In the future, 5-7 days would be my window of opportunity. I agree because it acts as a water purifier, not a filter. Good product!
