Review on ☕ KRUPS ET351 Coffee Maker: Programmable, Thermal Carafe, 12-Cup, Black – Review & Buyer's Guide by Kimberly Johnson

Great coffee maker!

Krups Savoy makes great coffee! Nothing beats a vacuum/siphon jug or French press but this has to be one of the best drip coffee makers I've ever had and I've had cheap and expensive ones over the years! My girlfriend doesn't like the design, but I love the square shape with the stainless steel control panel on the front. My only criticism of the design is that the size of the pot makes it difficult to pour all of the water into the tank without spilling as it's difficult to tip it all the way to the drain. This is not a problem for me as I just use a funnel and that solves the problem. Installing the included filter was easy enough. It has a built in cleanup feature which is a nice addition to the brew selector etc. I don't use a clock or delayed brew, so I can't comment on those features. I've come to the conclusion that a cone-shaped filter basket is better than a flat-bottomed pie-shaped basket. It is really important! With this machine, I get a richer coffee, even when I'm making regular strong coffee. The pot is large enough to be easily filled and washed. It holds 12 cups of coffee and if I leave hot water in it for a while before brewing the kettle I have hot coffee for hours. I mean hot not warm. Because it's stainless steel, you don't have to worry about it being damaged by thermal shock, and it won't break if dropped or hit with something like glass. In summary, this is a great coffee maker for less than $90! Try it! If Krups or any other company would like me to review coffee makers or other coffee-related products, please contact us!
