You need these rail fasteners

Listen, if you need multi-tooth pliers with adjustable tips and grooves, you need rail fasteners. These particular channellocks have a large neck at just over 4 inches, but if you need to press down on a 2 inch hard channel this is the right size. They have the classic channellock look but have more capacity for bigger jobs. If you have a typical day job then no doubt a Channellock 420, 430 or 440 will get the job done. But sometimes you try to twist a big pipe sleeve; Sometimes you want the exhaust pipe to stay stationary while you work on the back of the manifold. sometimes you need a channellock 460. At around $22, these 460s are the channellocks to have in reserve.
