They are both very good skates because both are learning to skate. I would give them 5 if I hadn't encountered the following issues: 1. I bought both at the same time, the girl arrived within a week and it's great. I don't understand why it takes longer than two weeks for a boy and I have to pay shipping but not for a girl. Why? They are the same size and differ only in a boy (blue) and a girl (pink). My boy asked me why it takes so long.2. The girl is alone, after three uses I had a problem with the top strap getting tangled in the slot. It took me at least 5 minutes and I had to take my daughter's skates off her leg to try it. It's annoying and very difficult. I'll give it another chance this Sunday morning to see if I can find a way to complete the challenge. If not I will send it back and ask for a replacement as it could be a quality issue. Apart from those two questions. They both enjoy learning to skate and are making great progress.
