Bought this lens primarily for astrophotography. After trying it out in Death Valley National Park in February this year, I am very impressed with its performance. Daytime landscape shots are also quite clear. Advantages: 1) Extremely light. It replaces my existing Astro Rokinon 14mm 2.8 + Sigma MC-11 lens which weighs around 700 grams. This lens is very light 2) Auto focus is fast and accurate 3) Distortion is low for wide angle 4) Coma is well controlled Cons: 1) Build quality is okay, lens hood looks really cheap 2) Flare setting is just fine 3) No manual focus markers as it is a wired focus. For some, this can be a problem for astrophotography. I've found that focusing to around 80-100ft at f2.8 gives decent clarity to both subject and star. Overall, for the price, this is a great lens for those who do astrophotography as a hobby. For more serious photographers, Laowa and Zeiss lenses are better suited. Highly recommended!
