I wish I bought something like this a long time ago. I got it when I moved to a new place because I wanted the walls to look a little better than my usual random style. This product includes a range of bubble levels to help you check the height of individual items and of course a laser which is very handy for nicely aligning multiple items on a wall. It seems a bit cheap but for the price it's good and I only use it around the house. The laser is designed so that you can either place it directly against the wall or place it on a table or counter. Projection of a line onto a wall. The device also includes a tape measure, but the tape retraction spring is *really* strong (at least on the one I have), so strong that after a few uses I had it retract from about four feet in a day, and it came with such force that the metal hook flew off the end, and now the tape is irrevocably coiled inside the block. But that doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the laser level. But I deduct a star for that.
