This was the first cross stitch I ever made. I love this pattern. It's very cute and easy enough to make. I saw a review or two that said they didn't get enough thread. I personally have an extra thread left. However, I'm only giving it 4 stars because the instructions weren't clear at all. I actually looked for tutorials on Youtube because the instructions were difficult to understand. Of course, you need to pull individual strands out of a skein of floss. This template requires 4 threads but it took me 2 days to figure it out. I had to go back to a few sections I had already done. It seemed like they skipped the instructions via google translate which caused more confusion. I would also recommend loops. There are knitting needles, but no loops. The part I did without the loop was a bit tricky. However, you could have done this work without her. All in all, I could buy another pattern from this company now that I'm more comfortable with cross stitching, but I could see someone else getting frustrated and giving up because they don't understand the instructions given.
