I don't know why all new sweaters have odd collars. It's no different. It says V-neck, but it's more of a loose, rounded collar that falls slightly in the front. I hate wide necklines on my shirts. I have a big neck and it was still just plain sloppy. Otherwise I like the look and the material is very thin and lets a lot of air through. Not sure how durable it will be, but it has maximum airflow. I'm 6'190 and ordered a large. Fits well even if it's a bit big. A medium would probably fit better but I'll just try to find a decent collar.
