Doesn't cost $100. Bought because my 7 year old ELM327 had WiFi and only did CEL DTC. Need one for my son's 2011 Chevy Malibu with the airbag light on. (Which is listed as compatible with advanced diagnostics on the front page of the Blue Driver website). Needless to say it didn't read anything other than the CEL codes, the airbag light is on and the codes aren't read, $100 wasted. a piece of junk sold with misleading advertising. Save money and get the ELM327. BlueDriver does not read most of the advertised codes. Just the ones Lemure programmed to read. All vehicles are limited in that Lemure programmed the app and reader for each individual make, model and year of vehicle tested, not all advanced code features are available. Even if your vehicle is listed with advanced diagnostics. Here is the description in the ad. (Read and erase advanced codes: such as ABS, airbag, transmission, etc. for GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota and Nissan (available worldwide) and BMW, VW and Honda 2003+ (available in North America). Other problemsLive data mode , limited to 5 items, data update rate is only 5 seconds. This update rate is too fast for diagnosing sporadic problems. The update rate should be instantaneous, maximum 1-2 seconds. This is necessary for monitoring vehicle problems such as misfire, problems with the battery/charging system and dashboard issues Until the device is disabled Anyone in their right mind wanting something like this hooked up to their vehicle's diagnostic port needs to hear about these issues that others have experienced oh, and don't worry customer support huh for a joke... you will get some dissatisfied persons with respect an eater interrupting you while you try to describe your problems yews It will then tell you to check if my vehicle is supported in the support section of their website before purchasing the product. Yes, even when the front page of their website says the big three (GM, Ford, Chrysler) and others should have advanced diagnostics. Who will guess their promoted list? Who will look at the "Support" tab and enter the car make, model and year before buying the device. If the vehicle you own is listed with extended diagnostic availability. NOBODY. As long as you don't buy it and have no problems. Most, if not all, people don't contact customer service unless there's a problem that you don't discover until you make the purchase. Oh and check out the news page on your website lol This is where most companies boast of updates and improvements, no the last one is almost a year old and the other one almost a year before that. My paperweight is back. . .
