I bought this cage for about $40. He claimed the condition was good. The cage arrived with one side slightly crumpled. Thus there was a gap between the roof and the side of the cage. Being a one piece it still holds up and I just have to bend it back. In any case, it's not big enough for the bird to come out or get its head caught. The problem is that the plastic protector on this side no longer fits since that dent made that side about half an inch shorter than it is. should be. The drawer is metal and has a torn and dented corner. I think it happened during transport. This resulted in a frayed and sharp edge of torn steel, and pulling out the tray became noisy and annoying. Nothing I can't fix myself but wish the drawer was plastic instead of metal. It makes a terrible squeak and is difficult to remove due to damage. Plastic becomes stronger and more durable (exposed metal will rust). I have no plans to return it as I think the $40 savings is worth it, but be aware that this item is poorly packaged to protect from damage in transit.
