I have been using a different SplashGuard for many years. Decided to try the Nalgene brand as I needed more. I prefer it because there are no more lipstick stains. My husband prefers SplashGuard as lipstick is not a problem for him. You decide what is important to you. Pros: Fits perfectly, never accidentally dropped. The color makes me happy. Leaves no lipstick stains. Cons: Doesn't stay on the lips well, if you drink too fast it leaks out to the sides. Maybe just because I have a small mouth.
