Definitely NOT for Nalgene standard wide mouth bottles. They are for Nalgene narrow mouth bottles. The photos in the description and the photos on the packaging do not correspond to reality. Pretty disappointed even after reading the reviews on it and seeing actual customer photos. You have sent the wrong product or the description and photos do not correspond to reality.

I have been using a different SplashGuard for many years. Decided to try the Nalgene brand as I needed more. I prefer it because there are no more lipstick stains. My husband prefers SplashGuard as lipstick is not a problem for him. You decide what is important to you. Pros: Fits perfectly, never accidentally dropped. The color makes me happy. Leaves no lipstick stains. Cons: Doesn't stay on the lips well, if you drink too fast it leaks out to the sides. Maybe just because I have a small mouth.

This product was a necessary addition to Nalgene's wide mouth water bottle. This reduces the chance of accidental spills while drinking. It also helps prevent dust and debris from entering the bottle when the lid is open. Easy to install and easy to remove. On the trail, therefore, there is no problem using the filter system, which may require a wide-open mouth. This product is also durable and dishwasher safe. For the price I paid 3 packs. I prefer Nalgene wide neck bottles with flat tops because they're easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and because I can add ice. However, they're not the most convenient if you're trying to drink from them on the go. This is a great item to prevent your knees or chest from filling up with water. I love this insert for my Nalgene 32 ounce wide mouth bottles. They fit snugly around the neck of the bottle and reduce the flow of water out of the Nalgene 32 oz wide mouth bottle for a more precise application, meaning no water splashes out of the shirt. The insert can be easily removed and cleaned. Just gently press it to install. Do not press too hard or the insert may fall into the bottle.
