I purchased this waterfall for my salon. I wanted there to be a serene background noise, not too loud and obnoxious but also not too quiet. If that’s what you’re looking for then THIS IS THE ONE! The waterfall is perfect! This is going to sound weird but some waterfalls sound just like running water and make you feel like you need to pee lol this one does NOT. With this one you enjoy a trickle sound broken down by a few rocks. This causes the drips to overlap, so it doesn’t sound like one steady drip it sounds like a small ecosystem of drips. (hope that made sense) the light at the bottom of the waterfall is very bright! It would make a great nightlight, or great in a bathroom high on a shelf, but if it will be sitting on a table at eye level I would recommend getting a small crystal or rock to sit over the light. I used a blue obsidian egg crystal and it sits perfectly without falling over. The light passes thru and produces a beautiful reflection on the ceiling. So peaceful! It creates such a tranquil ambiance. My clients love it and I’ve gotten many compliments on it. I would highly recommend this waterfall. One thing I will note is to read the instructions before adding water or assembly. I did have a little trouble with setting up the water pump in the right place but after wiggling it around a little bit I figured it out.
