I gave it a 4 because of the following reasons. 1. The price-it has to cost a fortune to ship these, but they still seem pricey.2. Silver bolts on black hardware (see pictures). You spend this much and it looks tacky.3. Instructions-I am a social worker (not an engineer) and could write better instructions. These are the steps I found helpful with installation. First, attach the rail to the RV. Second, attach the mounting plates to the slideout. Then feed the topper in to the rail on the RV and set it on the roof of the RV. Next, put the moving plate on the plate the is mounted to the slide. Now, bring the topper down in place and run the connector rod through it all. Notice the position of the end arm on the topper (see picture). Make appropriate side to side adjustments and screw it in place. Finally, remove the silver tension pins. Good luck.
