I use it for Bluetooth speaker in bathroom
I'm sure it works with the smart assistant sitting on it and all but i got it to stick a Sony bluetooth speaker on for my bathroom. Use the speaker for music in the shower and control the music with my voice or phone. Work fine, has a empty spot under the shelf to hide the wiring in under the part that the speaker sits on, keeps the wiring as hidden as possible.
