Works great for network transceivers
I'm using this short DAC to hook up a US-24 switch and USW aggregation. That is, a 1Gb SFP with a 10Gb SFP+ port. The two switches could auto-negotiate the connection, and I didn't have to manually go into settings to set the connection speed to 1Gbps. However, I wanted this cable to be 1 foot or 0.3 meter long.
