Highly recommend these! Very sturdy and no more tangles with loose tie downs!I was worried when i saw the picture of these, the bottom string looked elastic but in reality it's the same stiff strong paracord used for surfboards! I love how tight these are coiled, love how they stretch and love the safety clip! The velcro seems industrial tooI use these to tie my rods down for ocean fishing in Hawaii for pelagics. Obviously you don't lock the drag on your reels, these leashes really give you peace of mind in case you ever drop your rod going through surf or multitasking with other things. Can't recommend these enough
