To make it short. yes, it is a short story.

They will NOT work with HDMI cables longer than 6-10 feet. I've tried many, many HDMI cables and now I have a box full of them and don't need them. It turned out that when passing through this adapter, the HDMI cable does not pass a signal without aberrations and sprites. I will explain; A small portion of the end of the HDMI cable is OPEN because it is not fully inserted into this adapter. Hence, you get electrical noise that causes aberrations and sprites on your monitors/4K TVs. I moved the CPU closer and closer to the monitors and when I FINALLY got no more than 6ft the SAMSUNG 4K TV recognized a strong enough video SIGNAL to "boot without tangles", I also don't have any aberrations and Sprites at less than 6 feet using this adapter. My graphics card is an RTX 2070 Super and the ONE HDMI port on it works fine with a 50ft cable! ! Yes, the HDMI cable is 50 feet long. However when I use this adapter ie Go from DISPLAY PORT to HDMI then 50FT yes NO SIGNAL OR if I happen to get a signal it is full of aberrations and sprites. BUYER ATTENTION / CHECK YOUR DESIRED SETUP
