I bought this to muffle an old suede jacket I have. It is in good condition but looks dull and dry. Half of the back painted for comparison. After drying you didn't see any difference and it wasn't waterproof. Tried again and really soaked one spot, same result. For me it was a waste of time and money, as far as I know it could have been a bottle of water.
