This was the perfect replacement for the plastic office supplies we were previously using. We wanted an alternative and they fit the bill. The criticism that these utensils are not "sharp" enough for some products is justified. Although I would say plastic or wooden utensils were never meant for steaks in general. I've used them on salads, chicken, veggies, and fruit and have always had enough "spiciness" to enjoy my food. So consider proper nutrition, but I highly recommend this product and encourage everyone to make changes to improve the environment. Note to the manufacturer - it would be nice if the packaging wasn't plastic. Maybe bamboo ribbons and cardboard?
