. I was looking for a cheaper set just to experiment and see if I wanted to invest in better tools and this set fit the bill. The diagonal tape maker works as expected, as do the pins and clips; However, two clips broke immediately after first use, although I was careful knowing they were cheaply made. The awl is sharp and has held up to the expected use. The worst part of the kit was the sewing foot as it didn't work at all to successfully sew the bias binding onto the fabric. It was almost impossible to align the cheap plastic properly and then stay in place, as he kept jumping out of position. Firstly, I barely got the diagonal band through the presser foot and all the work on it was for naught as I was never able to stabilize the foot. It has shifted too much. Overall I think the price matches the quality but I wouldn't recommend buying it.
