Review on 📶 Linksys LAPAC1200C AC1200 Wireless Access Point for Business (Cloud-Managed PoE WiFi Access Point), White by Justin Buck

I bought the previous model LAPAC1750 a year ago. My intention with my network was to group the APs together so they work together on the same SSID. When I wanted to buy a second access point, the LAPAC1750 was out of stock, so I bought this one. I hooked it up today and tech support said they are not compatible for clustering as the firmware is not the same so I have to replace mine that is a year old. I asked what happens if they change it again in the future and I want to add a third one to my network, or if one of the two breaks? They said they didn't know but I would probably have to buy all the new equipment. This is how Linksys increases its profits by making its products obsolete and incompatible with future models. Thanks for extorting the product, Linksys! I tried calling their company office to see if anyone could at least tell me how long the AC1750 would be on sale and even dialing '0' sent me to voicemail. There isn't even a sales support phone number for the business products that are these access points.
