These sizes are US sizing. I wear pants with a 35" waist, so I bought a 36. For me, the fit is snug, not too tight. They look amazing in person. The colors are vibrant, just like the photos. Swimming pool. The fabric is thin and dries quickly but I wouldn't settle for many rough stone or brick surfaces if you expect them to last long.But the fabric is thick enough not to overwhelm you and there's a little extra use on it front for added coverage. I'm 6'1" and have long legs, 34" inseam and they hit my knees so very small boys might find them a little long.
