Review on Husky Liners Weatherbeater Black Front & 2nd Seat Floor Mats - Compatible with 2013-14 Subaru Legacy & Outback by William Mathis

The pads do everything I expected, have better coverage on my 14 year old Subaru Outback than the Weathertech floor mats and feel very durable. A small note on the design, on my car the floor mats block the gas door opening lever. You have the option to cut the mat or leave it closed. I chose to leave this lever closed and just pull the mat up to activate it. This will give you better coverage and more protection for your carpet! I measured 1.5 liters of saline dirty water in the driver's footwell. It's pretty good and a lot of corrosive liquid does NOT penetrate my carpet! :) A little hint: When laying the mats, make sure that the gas pedal is not trapped under the mat. This isn't a design flaw in the floor mats, it's simply a problem with the position of the gas pedal on my Outback. After installing the mat on the driver's side, simply check that all the sheets move smoothly and are out of the way. Very happy with these mats and would recommend them for any winter situation, especially the long and brutal one we had in Michigan!
