They're cheap, so as others have pointed out, you'll need to get an X-Acto blade or similar and just make sure all paths are clear. They kind of get stuck if you hold the rotating part too tight. I just keep it off a little and make sure you take the piece out regularly and blow off all the accumulated material, it's ok. The material won't spill out as long as you turn the measure upside down and shake off the excess and then return it to the top position. I only fired 3 shots because the glass vials in the packaging were torn by the bullets and the top had flaked off. I won't be using it but I ordered 12 packs of 1/2 dram and 1 dram bottles and they fit the threads well and come with caps so I'm not worried about that. They could improve the packaging. Overall they worked well for my runny nose.
