I didn't expect my cat to accept this (or any) harness right away, but she didn't despise it like the previous two I've bought (they were too small). I had it under 24 hours and we had 3 short tries, none terrible. I have to adjust the buckles a bit after each try because she won't let me do that while on her. It's also easier for her to crouch in than in the straps that cover most of her body and fasten with Velcro (she turns around with it, but we're learning). Sizing note: I have a 10.5-11 lb adult cat, fairly compact and stocky (not fat just not lanky, short neck/broad shoulders). Small is definitely the right size. It also seems well made, durable and comes with a leash. I'll definitely keep it to myself and work with my cat until I'm sure she 1) can't run away 2) can walk and not dramatize wearing it.
