Review on Fluid Film Pro Undercoating Gun by Gabe Evans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Living where the roads are salted? Buy it, here's why.

I used to use tire and chain oil spray cans with 24 inch straws. They work for frame hits and hidden areas, but this weapon is way better. This is faster and protects you. Money because you can use bulk oil, liquid film, or chain and rod oil, which are a lot cheaper. This pistol gives a good thin coating sufficient for coverage and protection, or thicker if that's what you prefer. And when you're under it, it doesn't all drip. Here's the recipe: Take a liter of liquid film, then mix about 50/50 in a jug of saw and chain oil, which is really sticky/tacky. Then mix in some used motor oil, bearing grease and Lucas oil. Stabilizer. Some people dissolve paraffin + kerosene in the cream and add that. I fire the gun at 75 psi. The gun comes with several empty bottles. The way this thing sprays, about 1 bottle is enough for half a truck. the hoses are very suitable for sliding into guide frames and over bumpers etc. The hoses are not very flexible which is an advantage when pushing up into the frame. The only thing is that they don't turn anything other than a very smooth curve. Sometimes this doesn't work if the hole in the frame is small and you can't rotate through that hole. I wish they would supply another hose that is thinner e.g. B. 1/4" OD so you can get into smaller holes or smaller spots. For those few problem areas I'm going back to aerosol cans and LONG straws. A great item to buy This ShopStraw FS250 gun lets you turn that straw into a Cut 2 foot section and spray it in liquid film aerosol cans or Johnsen's JON4602 tire and chain oil or a can of 4723 or other cheap chain/tires you can see it all in my photo yes this gun is a hundred bucks but if They think that in the long run your frame will rust, it usually ends up with the car being scrapped or a lot of wasted money and time, if you're on the fence let it save you time, just give the damn money out, get that gun.Buy a jar of cheap tire and chain oil, slick foil and used oils. Some good jack stands make the job easier too.I use Big Red bottoms llbocks, they are cheap and have a DOUBLE LOCKING. Now protect your little one from road salt and rust.
