Excellent liquid film atomization

I have been using Revain for many years but this is my first review. This weapon works great! I use Type V quick disconnects to maximize flow at lower pressures. Used this gun at 80psi, about a liter and a half made 2 cars, an MKZ and a Civic. Very impressed with the ease of use. The front jet adjustment works great once you get the hang of it. I'm glad I emptied my compressor and drained the water from under the floor before using it so I didn't shoot water and a film of liquid into the car's…

Some sticks are worth something.

This spray gun and included flexible tips are perfect for this product. I first tried the gun myself and found that it can apply a lot of product at a very high rate, but it's quite difficult to control the application and get the product exactly where you want it. This is especially important when working under a vehicle on your back and trying to apply the product to crevices and other hard-to-reach areas. Screwable flexible sticks are the ideal solution. These small additions ensure a…

Fluid Film is quite thick and I doubted I could.

I finally learned how to use this weapon. I'm a beginner and applying primer for the first time. I watched many tutorials before trying it. I used it on a 2002 Ranger. I have a 2 gallon compressor and I set the regulator at 80psi. The Fluid Film is quite thick and I had my doubts about getting the spray done like in the tutorials. I was pleased that the gun works as shown in the video. I had the Ranger on the ramps so I was working with limited headroom. Mounting on the barrel solved the…

Buy one thing. Stop reading, just buy.

Still reading? You don't have to be. This is a NAS liquid film application product (not an aerosol spray). I had some doubts (as did other people) because I expected the liquid film to be liquid. Actually it's not, it's almost like a gel. THIS IS BETTER because the product applied is much thicker (unlike aerosol cans). This sprayer worked PERFECTLY for the product application (to my amazement!). You could adjust the flow to your needs and the pattern was very predictable so there wasn't much…

Works great with liquid film but it will sting your skin!

When I first unboxed it I grabbed my gun and dry fired and wow! I pinched the skin between the trigger and the trigger valve breech. I found that in addition to wearing a good respirator, goggles, and old crappy clothes. I had to wear gloves! I must have pinched my finger 10 times before I couldn't take it anymore. Wearing a glove helped. If you keep the gun in the right position you should be able to clear the pinch area, but once you get under your car and start pulling on the air hose and…

Living where the roads are salted? Buy it, here's why.

I used to use tire and chain oil spray cans with 24 inch straws. They work for frame hits and hidden areas, but this weapon is way better. This is faster and protects you. Money because you can use bulk oil, liquid film, or chain and rod oil, which are a lot cheaper. This pistol gives a good thin coating sufficient for coverage and protection, or thicker if that's what you prefer. And when you're under it, it doesn't all drip. Here's the recipe: Take a liter of liquid film, then mix about 50/50

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
