Review on Fluid Film Pro Undercoating Gun by Alex Panda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with liquid film but it will sting your skin!

When I first unboxed it I grabbed my gun and dry fired and wow! I pinched the skin between the trigger and the trigger valve breech. I found that in addition to wearing a good respirator, goggles, and old crappy clothes. I had to wear gloves! I must have pinched my finger 10 times before I couldn't take it anymore. Wearing a glove helped. If you keep the gun in the right position you should be able to clear the pinch area, but once you get under your car and start pulling on the air hose and moving the sprayer, it's going to bite you! The atomizer worked great with liquid film. My first task was to retrieve it from a gallon sized container. I used a clean yogurt container and used it to fill a gallon freezer bag. Then he cut off a corner and squeezed it into the bottle. It was my first time painting my truck without a lift and I had no idea what to expect. Both extensions work great. I've noticed that you can't wind up the nozzle or it sticks too much. I screwed them in about 1/4 of the thread. They let a large amount of liquid film flow. I topped my RAM 1 crew cab with a full spray bottle equal to just under half a gallon. Cleaning was easy too. Try to squeeze as much as you can out of the bottle, then use hot tap water and dish soap at dawn. Close the bottle and shake well. Then pour the soap and hot water back in and run it through any chopsticks and attachments you used. Then blow them out with air to make sure they are completely dry. It took me about 2 hours without a lift to make my truck. I think next time I'll be more efficient at it.
